this animation is about maternal psychological violence:

Through a representation of physical violence I meant to actually symbolize the deepest one on the psyche. While on video we witness dynamics that seem "real", belonging to the physical realm, to the environment, my purpose is instead to communicate the hidden meaning told by these symbols about the emotional and psychological violence that some mothers enact on those they love the most. Because of dysfunctions, pathologies. Something didn't work in the mechanism of nature. Something that goes beyond the awareness of evil, of hurting. Dynamics of VIOLAtion that trigger responses in those who undergo them... that have working schemes that elude one's conscious will. Therefore I don't "talk" about beatings or physical pain, about conscious violence enacted on the body, but I use these to represent visually the most hidden and perverted ones. Those that eludes control, those that allow no defense.
